Thank you for visiting our website. I am Toshinori Tamaki who is the representative Japanese certified public tax accountant at our accounting and tax office. I began my office in Chitose Karasuyama, Setagata-ku, Tokyo in July 2022 with having experiences over ten years working for Big four tax firms and tax divisions of Japanese listed companies.
My specilized areas are as follows:

Since I work for a company during the weekdays, I will be available on weeknights, weekends, and holidays. Because of this time limitation, we are not able to handle a large number of clients. However, the representative tax accountant will be in charge of all client-related matters and will provide detailed services, so you can rest assured that you can rely on us.

After graduating from Meiji University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, I joined the Transaction Advisory Group of KPMG Tax Corporation, where I gained experience in taxation related to asset securitization using SPCs and taxation related to M&A. During my employment, I obtained a Master of Laws from the University of Tsukuba Graduate School. At the tax team of the accounting department of a Tokyo Stock Exchange listed company, I was mainly responsible for preparing various tax returns, responding to internal tax consultations, and preparing transfer pricing documents. At PwC Tax Corporation’s International Tax/M&A Tax Group, I provided tax return preparation and tax consulting services to listed companies and foreign-affiliated companies. In particular, I have extensive experience in M&A taxation work, including tax due diligence and tax structuring, including overseas taxation. I was also seconded to PwC Thailand Bangkok Japan Corporate Department for two years. After returning to Japan, I worked with PwC’s overseas offices to provide Japanese companies with overseas tax services, including Thai tax services. I was promoted to Senior Manager. Since moving to the Global Mobility Services Division in PwC Tax, I have provided consulting services and tax return preparation services to individual clients and corporate expatriates regarding personal income tax, inheritance tax, and gift tax in connection with cross-border personnel transfers. |
